Adalina Kaul
Adalina Kaul is a junior in the Honors College majoring in exercise physiology with a minor in Hispanic studies on the pre-physical therapy track. Passionate about leadership, health, and community engagement, she serves as president of the ECU Women’s Club Soccer team, where she organizes games and practices while fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment. She is also the vice president of the Pre-Physical Therapy Club, where she helps coordinate events, manages the social media, and connects students with opportunities related to physical therapy and rehabilitation.
In addition, Adalina works as a group fitness instructor at ECU Campus Recreation and Wellness, leading a variety of fitness classes. She also serves as an Honors College Mentor, supporting incoming students as they transition into college life and academics. Dedicated to service and research, Adalina volunteers weekly with Pitt County Adapted Physical Education classes, assisting students with disabilities through movement and inclusive recreation. She is also conducting research for her Signature Honors Project with Dr. Das, leading weekly physical activity classes for a pregnancy support group to examine its effects on preterm birth rates in eastern North Carolina.
After completing her degree, Adalina hopes to attend ECU’s DPT school and pursue a career in physical therapy. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends! Contact Adalina at kaula24@students.ecu.edu
