Chris Kalapurackal
Chris Kalapurackal is a junior in the Honors College, where he is majoring in Engineering with concentrations in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, along with a minor in Business Administration and a certificate in Entrepreneurship. Chris enjoys giving back to the ECU community through leadership and active involvement in organizations such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the Indian Students Organization. He also works as a research assistant, where he analyzes the impacts and economics of second-life electric vehicle batteries and flies drones to survey land.
In his free time, Chris enjoys cooking, trying new cuisines, and traveling. As an Ambassador, he is passionate about sharing his experiences at ECU and helping new students learn about the various opportunities within the Honors College. Contact Chris using
