Madelena O’Dell
Madelena O’Dell is a sophomore in the honors college studying as a nursing intended major with a minor in psychology. She is a student athlete, cheering at all ECU football and basketball games and works as a chemistry tutor at PASC. Her involvement on campus goes beyond academics as she volunteers at ECU Health in the pediatric reception reef, is the events coordinator for ECU HOSA, and is an Ambassador for the Honors College. She also volunteers at a variety of places on and off campus such as the Purple Pantry, Adopt-a-Street, Aces for Autism, and for the MS society. This past summer she studied abroad in Italy at ECU’s Tuscany campus and was a recipient of the Thomas W. Rivers Foreign Exchange scholarship. In her free time, she loves to do pilates at the Rec, thrift, and hangout with friends. Post graduation she plans to work in a specialized ICU field with the intentions to become a CRNA.
