Maggie Parrish

Maggie Parrish, a sophomore at East Carolina University, from Princeton, NC. She is currently enrolled in the Honors College, pursuing a major in Public Health with a pre-health concentration. Passionate about serving rural communities, Maggie aspires to attend physician assistant school and eventually practice as a healthcare provider in underserved areas of North Carolina. 

In addition to her academic endeavors, Maggie is deeply committed to leadership and community engagement. She serves as the president of ECU’s Pre-PA Club, where she works to support and inspire fellow students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare. Maggie also volunteers as a Navigator for ECU’s Fresh-Start Program, guiding underserved patients better their health practices. She further mentors incoming freshmen in the Honors College, helping them navigate both academic and personal growth.

Outside of her studies and leadership roles, Maggie enjoys spending her free time at the beach, socializing with friends, and staying active by playing pickleball. Contact Maggie at parrishm24@students.ecu.edu
