Study Religion in India and Nepal

This 26-day program to India and Nepal will explore the origins and development of Buddhism in an interdisciplinary fashion. Prior to departure, students will engage in collaborative research projects relating to locations that will be visited during the program, and their contributions will be included in an ongoing scholarly study of the Buddhist Holy Land. In addition to field research at Buddhist sites, participants will visit non-Buddhist holy sites, national landmarks like the Taj Mahal, beautiful natural landscapes, an elephant sanctuary, classical Indian music concerts, museums, sacred rivers, and other locations. This highly engaged program has enabled 175 previous ECU students to visit the region over the past dozen years. Is this year your time?
