Pitt County Arts Council seeks applicants for Regional Artist Project Grants

The Pitt County Arts Council is seeking applications for the 2019-2020 Regional Artist Project Grants.

The Regional Artist Projects Grants are awarded to individual artists throughout eastern North Carolina in 29 counties, and is a grants program partially funded by the North Carolina Arts Council. This grant is not applicable to organizations.

Artists can include musicians, dancers, filmmakers, actors, literary artists, as well as visual artists. The average grant award is between $500 and $1,000. Eligible artists include North Carolina residents who have resided in eastern North Carolina for at least 2 years in the following counties:

  • Pitt
  • Tyrrell
  • Washington

There will also be a regional workshop in Eastern North Carolina at Emerge Gallery on Thursday, August 8th at 5:30 p.m. Emerge Gallery is located at 404 S. Evans Street in Greenville, NC.
