Apply to be a Pledge Purple Ambassador
We are seeking student leaders like you to apply to serve as Pledge Purple Ambassadors, a group of students who will lead Pledge Purple Week, a campus-wide pledge to end violence through hands or words in acts of bullying, hazing, sexual assault, and other forms.
We need your help! We need engaged, passionate, and powerful people like you to create an inclusive, safe, and empowering community for all.
As a Pledge Purple Ambassador, you will
- Be an advocate and light for positive community change
- Educate peers about the Pledge through tabling, speaking to classes, and other opportunities
- Lead a small group of volunteers during Pledge Purple week events like Take Back the Night and the Resource Fair (November 5-8)
- Attend a 1/2 day training session to learn the Pledge, practice sharing it with others, and share your ideas on how we can create an inclusive, safe community for all
- Get a great experience for your resume & professional development
- Receive a free Pledge Purple Ambassador t-shirt
Time Commitment
- Attend 1/2 day training (date TBA)
- 1-2 hours per week leading up to Pledge Purple Week tabling, speaking to classes, etc.
- Participation and leadership during Pledge Purple Week (November 5-8), expect time commitment during this week to be between 5-7 hours

- Selected Pledge Purple Ambassadors will be notified by Monday, September 16th
- Training day will be scheduled based on selected Ambassadors
