PHACT interest meeting

Below is a message from Serena Mooney, EC Scholar and Honors College 2020.

 

When thinking of communities in need, the aging population is often forgotten.

People Helping the Aging Community Thrive (PHACT) is a multidisciplinary organization interested in increasing awareness and education about the aging population in Greenville and Eastern NC. Some of our activities include service at local nursing homes/assisted living facilities and inviting gerontology field experts to speak about their experiences.

Since this is a young organization, there are many opportunities to get involved in leadership! Again, all majors all welcome. We are having an interest meeting on Sept. 24 at 7:00 PM in Rivers 154. Below a flyer with the details.
