Seminar Credit, Arts Credit & Study Abroad in one course

In the spring semester we will be offering a fine arts course for seminar credit that also includes a study abroad experience to the United Arab Emirates with Professor Matthew Egan and myself. We have done these in the past with seminars and had great success and we want to see this one accomplish the same!

This class will count for a fine arts credit (ART 3515) that EVERY student needs before graduation as well as Honors Seminar credit (HNRS 2012) that is also necessary to fulfill your honors requirements.

The class meets every Tuesday 8:00am-10:50am in the spring to prepare prior to traveling abroad and a few times after to conclude the projects. However, if this creates a scheduling conflict, but you are interested in being a part of this course, it may be possible to reschedule some of the on-campus components to accommodate your schedule. Matt is happy to meet with you to discuss possible alternatives.

The study abroad portion of the trip will take place from March 4th-14th and is $1300.00 prior to airfare. The Honors College and College of Fine Arts and Communication have worked to make this an affordable study abroad option! We understand that traveling to the Middle East is something that is approached with apprehension. but we assure you that your safety is our number one concern.
