MLK Day of Service: 1/20

What?

The Honors College Student Council is partnering with the CENC Food Bank in Greenville in order to provide students with an opportunity to give back to the community in the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Volunteers will manage inventory, distribute and unpack food supplies, clean and organize, and potentially participate in other small, assorted jobs. Generally, projects consist of determining whether food is safe or unsafe and then putting it in family-sized containers. Projects typically include building food boxes, sorting and repackaging of produce, groceries, bulk dry items like pasta or rice, or labeling food containers. Please wear closed-toed shoes.
