Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Fellowship now open

The East Carolina Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi national honor society is pleased to invite applications for the 2020 Graduate Fellowship Competition. These funds can be used to support first-year graduate or professional study at an accredited university in the U.S.

The ECU chapter of Phi Kappa Phi selects one winner who receives $1500.00 from the chapter. That person’s materials are then sent forward to the national competition. The national society awards 50 fellowships of $8,500 each, 6 of $20,000 and 2 of $35,000. Last year’s ECU chapter winner received a national award of $35,000!

  • ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be active (dues paid) members of Phi Kappa Phi or invited for membership in the current year. They must also have applied to graduate or professional school for the 2020-2021 year. Students who have successfully completed 10 or more graduate credits on or before April 15 are not eligible.
  • APPLICATION PROCESS AND DEADLINE: The deadline for submissions to the ECU chapter is Friday, February 28, 2020, by 5 p.m.
Application forms and additional information are available from the PKP website at www.PhiKappaPhi.org/Fellowship. Applicants should complete the form online and print it out, submit one copy along with the required supporting documents (test scores, writing sample, transcripts and letters of recommendation) to:
