Joyner's Senator Robert Morgan Papers Student Research Award seeks submissions
Are you interested in research in areas such as politics, public policy, law, education, criminal justice or sociology?
The 2020 Senator Robert Morgan Papers Student Research Award is seeking submissions.
Established to honor Senator Morgan’s legacy and raise awareness of his papers here at ECU, the $1,000 award recognizes excellence in student research and is open to undergraduate and graduate students at ECU.
Submissions may be traditional papers or scholarly digital projects and must focus on material contained in the Robert Morgan Papers, housed in Joyner Library’s Special Collections. The materials reflect Morgan’s legal career, his service in the legislative and executive branches of government, and his tenure on ECU’s Board of Trustees. The papers span topics including government, politics, law, special and higher education, history, public administration, sociology and criminal justice.
The deadline for submission is May 15, 2020.
