Discount code for Feb. 21st Healthcare Innovation Conference

Duke University School of Nursing is holding a Healthcare Innovation Conference on Friday, February 21, 2020.

The symposium is meant to introduce healthcare providers (physicians, nurses, NPs, PAs, medical assistants, etc.) to the step-by-step entrepreneurial path and this is reflected in the progression of conference sessions over the day. First, professors from Duke’s Pratt School of Engineering will lay out how healthcare providers can identify unmet needs that demand innovative solutions. Next, product development experts will detail the process of generating and testing those solutions. Then, a panel of funding experts will discuss how innovators can target grants and early investment. After a keynote address from Sue Collier, who served as vice president for innovation and clinical excellence at the North Carolina Healthcare Association, a group of inventors (some are clinicians) will share their personal experiences with bringing their ideas to market. Finally, the conference attendees will join up to three small group discussions with panelists and experts to explore and share ideas, information and inspiration.
