Student Employment at Brody School of Medicine

This message is on behalf of Honors College student Dawsyn Smith (smithda18@students.ecu.edu):

Fellow Honors College Students:

I am a sophomore in the Honors College and work at the Brody School of Medicine. There are multiple job opportunities in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology opening up for students. I would love to share this opportunity with my peers before going outside of the Honors College.

The Koch and Koster laboratories are looking for student assistants to perform basic duties in the laboratories.  Initial duties will include clearing lab spaces of old equipment and reagents, organizing the placement of new equipment and chemicals, and washing glassware.  The positions are available immediately.  Previous exposure to work in a biomedical laboratory is preferred but not required. Hours are flexible but need to be within business hours.

Another job opportunity is in the gross anatomy lab. The Anatomy and Cell Biology Department is seeking a Self-Help Student to assist curator with setting up lab for classes. Will include cleaning and moving things around. Hours for this position would also be flexible but need to be within business hours. This position will require summer hours.

Any of these positions would look great on future applications or on a resume. If interested, please contact me and I will help you move on to the next step of applying.
