Building Buddies Recruitment

Below is a message from Honors student Kristina Whitley:

Hello everyone, I know this semester has been a challenging time but as Pirates, we have persevered! Serving is vital to the Greenville community, and our club would love it if you decided to serve with us. Building Buddies has partnered with Building Hope Community Center to establish a mentorship program. Typically, each ECU student would physically go at least once a week to Building Hope and help their students out with homework, play games with them, and become a support system. Due to COVID, we unfortunately cannot mentor in the same capacity. However, we will soon be launching a new pen pal program with the students to meet our original mentorship mission. This is an awesome opportunity to also earn some volunteer hours. We would love it if you decided to join our club!

Can’t wait to host some awesome letter writing parties with you guys and our buddies in the future!
