PROGRAM AT A GLANCE
Day 1: Fly overnight to Scotland
Day 2: Edinburgh − Meet your Tour Director at the airport − Take a walking tour of Edinburgh − Enjoy dinner in Edinburgh
Day 3: Edinburgh − Tour Edinburgh with an expert local guide − Visit Edinburgh Castle, a historic fortress on Castle Rock − Attend a lecture to learn about the education systems within the United Kingdom
Day 4: Edinburgh − Visit a local school to get a firsthand look at classroom culture in Scotland − Spend a half day exploring Edinburgh on your own
Day 5: Edinburgh • London − Travel by train to London − Take a guided tour of London − See Big Ben − See the Houses of Parliament − See Piccadilly Circus − See St. Paul’s Cathedral − See the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (if scheduled) − Enjoy a fish and chips dinner in London
Day 6: London − Participate in a lecture on teacher training and gain insight into the journey to become a qualified teacher in England − Visit a local school and experience the British education system
Day 7: London − Take a half-day excursion to Oxford, home to the prestigious Oxford University − Spend time exploring London on your own
Day 8: Depart for home
