Semester Experience at the Coast

During the Semester Experience at the Coast, students can expect to experience small class sizes that support strong faculty and student interaction and classroom instruction connected to active learning opportunities at the coast. Our interdisciplinary courses span the natural and social sciences allowing students to work toward a minor in coastal studies (COAS). During the semester at CSI, there are opportunities for students to engage in faculty guided undergraduate research projects and internships within the Outer Banks community.
