Submission open for ECU's art & literary magazine, Rebel

This post is from Reagan Blackburn:

Hello!

My name is Reagan Blackburn, and I am this year’s editor of Rebel, ECU’s art and literary magazine. For this magazine, we have students all across campus from a variety of different majors submit art pieces for the magazine.

This year’s theme is “revival.” For this magazine, we want to see what revival means to you and how you plan to bring revival into the new world we are living in now.

Art pieces may include printmaking, ceramics, drawing, illustration, non-fiction, fiction, poetry, songs, albums, film, animation, photography, graphic design, book arts, sculpture, wood design, interior design, textile design, metal design, etc. As well as submitting art pieces, artists may include an optional artist statement with it.

To submit pieces for the magazine’s spring edition, email high-quality images (.PNG/.JPG), Word documents, or video files (YouTube links, .MOV, .MP4) to rebel@ecu.edu. In the email, be sure to include artist(s), the title of the piece, and the category of submission.

We look forward to any submissions! If there are any questions, comments, or concerns, you can email Reagan Blackburn (blackburnr19@students.ecu.edu) or rebel@ecu.edu.

Best,

Reagan Blackburn (she/her/hers)
