Volunteering Opportunity for those wishing to be a Physical Therapist

Excellent Volunteering Opportunity for those who are aspiring to pursue Physical Therapy degree
 
Pediatric Assessment and Rehabilitation Lab (PEARL), Department of Physical Therapy, ECU will be hosting an intensive therapy camp for children with cerebral palsy. 
 

What will you gain by volunteering in this camp?

  • First-hand experience of working with children with cerebral palsy under the supervision of experienced therapists
  • 30-40 hours of physical therapy shadowing experience
  • Learn to perform a novel intervention on children with cerebral palsy
  • Observe hand and brain imaging (TMS) assessments that will be performed on these children before and after the therapy camp
