ANTH 2005 – Dr. David Griffith – Environmental Anthropology (3 SH, GE:SO)

Human adaptation to different environments from prehistoric to modern times.

BIOL 1060 – Dr. James Morely – Environmental Biology (3 SH, GE:SC)

Will not count toward BIOL major or minor. Interrelationships of organisms with each other and with their environment and human factors. Basic ecological problems, principles, and solutions.

GEOL 1400 – Dr. Kimberly Rogers – Bays and Beaches Around the World: Geological Form and Function (3 SH, GE:SC)

Introduction to fundamental geologic concepts and the scientific method via coastal geological and hydrological processes of beach and estuarine systems around the world.

GEOL 2600 – Dr. Mike Muglia – Analysis Techniques and Methods of Coastal Ocean Research (3 SH)

Lab and field methods used to examine oceanographic processes and introduction to coastal ocean research.

COAS 2025 – Dr. Sid Narayan – Survey of Coastal and Marine Resources (3 SH)

Basic science course in BIOL, CHEM, GEOL, or PHYS. Biological, physical, social, and historic aspects of coastal and marine resources.

ART 1001 – Judd Snapp – Color and Design (3 SH, GE:FA)

Stand-up-paddle board manufacturing.

ENTR 3500 – Hank Lobe – Entrepreneurship Essentials (3 SH) *Second 8-week Block*

Exposure to entrepreneurship as a viable career opportunity, examination of entrepreneurial potential, examination of the role of entrepreneurship in society, consideration of the process of identifying, assessing, and exploiting business opportunities.
