Final offering of mindfulness program for students with health conditions or disabilities
My name is Lauren Conder, and I am a doctoral student in the Department of Psychology. The flyer contains information about a virtual mindfulness program for students with physical or mental health conditions or disabilities that I will be offering to eligible students this semester as a research study.
THE PROGRAM: I am conducting a 4-week long research study involving a program consisting a 75-minute online live session each the first 3 weeks, and a final session lasting 90 minutes in a virtual (WebEx) format. The program will have accessibility features such as closed captioning. You will be asked for your availability in determining when the groups will be held. This program is intended for students with physical or mental health conditions or disabilities. The program will include an introduction to the process of mindfulness, practice of mindfulness skills, and how you may apply these practices to your life.
COMPENSATION: To thank you for your time and effort, I am able to provide some compensation to you for the time you spend completing the online post-survey and focus group. After you complete the post-survey, I will email you a $25 electronic gift card. I will email another $10 electronic gift card to you after you complete the focus group or provide feedback about the intervention.
Please contact me if you have any questions or would like more information.
