Call for Applicants — Bridging the Gap: Free Online Medical Interpreter Training

This is a 40-hour comprehensive medical interpretation program.

  • Comprehensive curriculum meets prerequisites for national interpreter certifications
  • Multilingual students: develop professional interpretation skills
  • Monolingual students: understand how to work with interpreters in your field
  • Training, materials, and assessments are covered expenses

Only English proficiency is required.

Open to students in health, pre-health, Spanish, social work, and related fields.

40 hours over 4 weekends

September program will be the 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th.

October program will be 1/2, 8/9, 15/16, and 22/23.
