University of Houston Pre-Law Programs

There are three levels of pre-law summer programs.

Scholar I Online: This program is designed for students in their first two years of college. It will take place May 24 through July 28. The cost is $600. Students will participate in introductory first year law school classes, legal writing and trial advocacy, taught by law school faculty.

Scholar II Online: This program is for rising seniors to help them build a strong law school application by concentraing on LSAT prep, creating and finalizing the student’s resume, personal statement and diversity statement for submission to law school. This program takes place May 8 through July 28 and costs $1,600.

Working Professional Scholar Program: This program provides law school preparatory resources to college graduates and working professionals who are considering law as an alternative career option. This program takes place April 1 through July 28 and costs $1,200.
