Seeking submissions for The Lookout: A Journal of Undergraduate Research at ECU

We are accepting submissions of all kinds, including creative writing such as original fiction, flash fiction, and poetry; academic research papers from any discipline; artwork including photography, visual art, digital art, and an image to be used as our cover page; and performances including theatre, dance, and music.

Deadline: February 28th, 2023
Requirements:
§ Research papers must be 10 pages or less (not including the bibliography) and they must include a 150–200-word abstract
§ All written submissions must be submitted in PDF or Word format
§ Performances must include a written component (compositions, scripts, dance graphics) in addition to a recording
§ Performances must include a link to the performance’s recording, do not attach a video
§ Images of any kind must be jpeg files only, 300 dpi
§ Cover art submissions must be pirate/ECU themed
§ No anonymous work will be accepted§ All citation styles are welcome; however, all works, figures, and tables must be properly sourced and cited
