This is a unique clinical and experiential learning experience for pre-professional, health science students to work directly with a vulnerable patient population and fill critical gaps in care and support for patients while also expanding and growing their counseling skills, clinical skills (e.g., charting), and nutrition and physical activity guidelines and general knowledge. Students may also have additional research and/public health and/or group classes/health education related opportunities if they so choose.
