Iceland 2026: Fire and Ice — Human Impact in Iceland’s Dynamic Earth

  • Location: Reykjavik, Iceland
  • Cost: $4,300 (includes all accommodations, excursions and some meals)

This immersive course (6 hr.) explores Iceland’s breathtaking landscapes—geysers, glaciers, waterfalls, and volcanic wonders—while diving into cutting-edge sustainability practices. You’ll engage in field-based research, hands-on projects, and reflective discussions to understand the dynamic relationship between climate change, human activity, and environmental stewardship.

Highlighted excursions include:

  • Golden Circle Tour: Þingvellir National Park, Strokkur geyser, Gullfoss waterfall
  • South Coast tour with glacier hike and iconic waterfalls
  • Kerið Volcanic Lake and Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa
  • Reykjavik city tour, Lava Show, and Perlan Museum
