ECU Summer Biomedical Research Program Apps Due Feb. 13

The ECU Brody School of Medicine Summer Biomedical Research Program is a nine-week summer research program at ECU where undergraduates gain lab experience, complete required safety training, and attend career development workshops. Participants present their research at a final poster session, receive a $3,500 stipend, and will be offered on-campus housing at no cost. Students enrolled in an undergraduate program — including those on valid visas — are eligible.

The program will be May 26 – July 31, 2026.

Students must have received a passing grade in college-level general biology, general chemistry, algebra and English composition (or comparable courses) to participate.

Applications are due February 13, 2026 at 5 p.m.
