Community Resiliency Model Virtual Workshops – May 6 & 20
Two options available:
- Wednesday, May 6 – 10-11:30 a.m.
- Wednesday, May 20 – 2:30-4 p.m.
Interested in learning how to build resilience to better support yourself and those around you? This workshop is open to educators, students, and community members. It will introduce participants to the Community Resiliency Model (CRM). CRM teaches how stress affects the mind and body and shares simple, easy to learn wellness skills that help us better manage stress to be our best selves. Come ready to learn ways to put the brakes on your nervous system and find a greater sense of well-being!

After this workshop, you will be able to:
- Explore why people react to stress and trauma in certain ways
- Learn about the “Resilient Zone”
- Learn skills to regulate your nervous system
- Share these skills with those around you
