Humanity in Action Fellowship now open!

The Humanity in Action Fellowship brings together international groups of current college and university students and recent graduates to explore compelling, current issues of liberal democracy, pluralism, human rights, and social justice with in the specific historical and cultural contexts of each of the program sites – Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Sarajevo, Warsaw, and Atlanta. Intensive and demanding, the on-site programs are an educational space for transatlantic dialogue, reflection, and informed action. Fellows complete ‘Action Projects’ in the second phase of their fellowship experience to promote democratic values in their own communities.

The HiA Fellowship is open to current undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates who are passionate about active citizenship, diversity, and human rights. The program itself is fully funded; Fellows must cover their own transportation costs (financial support is available for those in need).

The application is due January 5, 2020. Visit https://www.humanityinaction.org/apply-from-the-usa/ for further information.
