Recruiting Runners for Research
Please see the email below and the attachment regarding a research program looking for recreational runners. For more information, please contact Joey Casadonte.
My name is Joey Casadonte and I am a second year masters student here at ECU where I am working on my masters in biomechanics.
I am looking to recruit recreational runners who run 6+ miles per week who would be willing to participate in my study. I was referred to you by Kendall Taylor who said you have the ability to promote my study to those in the honors college. If you would be willing to promote my study I would greatly appreciate it!
The study itself only last about an hour and it uses a 3D motion capture system and embedded force plates to help me determine the effect a dampened running surface has on the body in both a level and decline condition. I have attached a flyer for this study in case you want something simple to send out there.
Thank you so much for your time,
Joey Casadonte
