Gilman International Scholarship - March 3

The Gilman Scholarship Program is a program of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and is assisted in its implementation by the Institute of International Education (IIE). The Gilman Program provides grants for undergraduate U.S. citizens of limited financial means to study and intern abroad, thereby gaining skills critical to our national security and economic prosperity.

The Gilman Scholarship Program is pleased to announce that applications for the March 2020 Deadline are now open. The March 2020 Deadline application is open for applicants whose programs start from May 1, 2020 to April 30, 2021. This cycle encompasses Summer 2020, Fall 2020, Academic Year 2020-2021, Winter 2021, and Spring 2021 programs.

The deadline for the March 2020 Deadline application is Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11:59pm Pacific Time (PT). Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstance.

Informational videos are available on the Gilman website to help you with the application process. The videos provide an overview of the program, tips on how to compose a competitive essay and also walks-through the online application.
