Ink’d Threads is looking to hire our newest team member!

We started out in 2007 as a one-person home-based shop and have expanded to a four-person staff with a shop off of Evans Street in Greenville. We are currently in the process of moving into a bigger location and need more hands to help run the shop.

Ink’d Threads is looking for responsible, assertive, and hardworking individuals to join our staff. Our shop is a fast-paced, yet fun, work environment. The perfect person to join our team would pride themselves on getting the job done right and pay very close attention to detail. They should also be a quick-learner, self-starter, flexible, and thrive working in a team-oriented environment.

The specific position that we are seeking is a Part-Time Heat Press Operator. This person will be responsible for producing our heat-printed apparel. The new hire will look over packing slips and pull apparel for printing, print the correct items based on items ordered, advise management on what needs to be ordered, assist with unboxing, sorting, and putting inventory away, assuring that all orders go out as scheduled.

What the Heat Press Operator will do:

  • Organize packing slips and orders
  • Pull apparel for printing based on style, size, color, etc.
  • Read packing slips and heat press correct design to garments
  • Package completed order and prepare for shipment/delivery
  • Assure that all orders go out as scheduled
  • Unbox, sort, and put inventory away
  • Communicate supply needs with management
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Part-time schedule with flexible work hours between 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.
  • Monday through Friday (Rare Saturdays will be required to keep up with production schedule)
  • Great ability to work by yourself or in a team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable to be at work on time and when needed
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to stand on a concrete floor for periods of time
  • Capable of lifting 20 lbs
  • No formal training needed. On the job training is provided.
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
