ECU Tuscany

Spend the spring term in Italy through the ECU Tuscany program! Ideal for freshmen and sophomores, this program offers multiple disciplines fulfilling numerous general education, elective, humanities, and fine arts credits and requirements. The cost is less than out of state tuition and a competitive cost for in-state students that covers tuition, housing, meals on class days, all excursions and attractions and more!

Semester in Spain

Spend 3 months in Santander, Spain and earn up to 18 transfer credits in Spanish! This program is led by Dr. Laura Levi-Altstaedter and you will be traveling and studying with other North Carolina University students! There is one set cost regardless of state residency and it covers tuition, host family accommodations, meals, excursions, laundry, overseas health insurance, and a group flight out of Charlotte! Remember, you still have access to your normal ECU Financial Aid and additional scholarships are available! Join us for an information session for Semester in Spain on Thursday, September 9th at 4:00pm on the 3rd floor of Bate in the lounge by the Student Technology Center.

NC State in Prague

Students take classes at our NC State European Center located in the heart of historical Prague and stay in an NC State residence located in the greater city center. We offer24/7 emergency response. In Spring 2022, NC State Prague offers 20+ courses, GEPs ranging from Natural Sciences, Humanities to Social   Sciences and Diversity, and a wide range of electives in Engineering, Mathematics, and Design. Courses are taught by local Czech instructors and are open to all majors. We invite you to check the complete list of courses. Cultural activities, in and out-of-country excursions, and extracurricular activities, such as Czech cooking classes, enhance the program.

UNC-W in Paris

One of our most cherished missions is to help our students immerse themselves fully during their stay in Paris. French is our preferred language of communication in everyday life with our students. All students will be enrolled in 6 hours of French language study at Cours de Civilisation Francaise de la Sorbonne. In addition, the quality of your immersion and your linguistic progress will be monitored and assessed during individual interviews held every two weeks as a part of the “Engagement in Paris” course.
