Be the Match bone marrow donation/networking virtual event

Brody School of Medicine’s I Am First, SNMA, and LMSA are partnering with “Be the Match” for an event centered around bone marrow donation and networking. We will have Vidant Oncologists, Brody SOM Leadership, current patients, and medical students present at this event. Also, for all pre-med students, there will be an opportunity to enter breakout rooms with current medical students for networking and Q&A sessions! The event is scheduled to be a virtual event on Thursday, January 20th at 6:30. PRIZES AVAILABLE FOR PARTICIPANTS!

A bit about Be the Match: “For the thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, a cure exists. Over the past 30 years Be The Match, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), has managed the most diverse marrow registry in the world. We work every day to save lives through transplant.”
