Take part in this Saturday's JDRF One Walk – Volunteer opportunities also available

Hey Honors students!

We are excited to announce we have made an “ECU Honors College” team for the JDRF One Walk! Registration is free and the day is full of fun for everyone! Please consider joining our team and helping fellow Honors students who put this event together. So far, the Walk has roughly 200 participants signed up and almost $30,000 raised in three weeks. The Walk starts this Saturday, April 2nd at 10 am at the Town Commons, which is walking distance from campus!

Rough Schedule for the event:

6:30am-8am: Preparation/Event Setup

8:30am-9:45am: Check-in/Breakfast snacks

9:45am: Introduction

10 am: One Walk begins (5k competitive, 5k noncompetitive, one mile)

10:15am-2pm: Fun Activities- live music, food trucks, games for kids, tabling, awards

11:30am-12pm: “Pelt-a-Delt”
12pm-12:15pm: Award ceremony
12:15pm-12:45pm: Opener for band
12:45pm-2:15pm: Live band- Mikele Buck Band

2pm-finish: Cleanup
