"The Life and Legacy of Floyd McKissick" - Charmaine McKissick-Melton talk and Q&A
What: Dr. Charmaine McKissick-Melton of North Carolina Central University will discuss the life and legacy of her father, civil rights leader and North Carolina native Floyd McKissick. Floyd McKissick is the subject of the recent book Soul City: Race, Equality, and the Lost Dream of an American Utopia. Lecture will be followed by audience Q&A. Learn more about Dr. McKissick-Melton.
