Volunteer with Third Street Academy as a tutor

The Honors College is collaborating with Third Street Academy, a local all-boys K-8 school, resulting in more volunteer opportunities for HC students. Third Street Academy needs tutors/assistants for English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, and PE. With the close proximity between ECU campus and Third Street Academy, as well as the wide range of subjects to help out with, this opportunity serves as a great chance to get volunteer hours and, more importantly, leave a positive impact on these younger children.

If you are interested in being a tutor/assistant, volunteers are asked to submit to a background check at the school and volunteer at least once a week once you start for the remainder of the semester.
