Jan. 13 — Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center opens for the spring 2025 semester
Jan. 22 — Coffee House begins for the semester; 6PM in the LGBTQ Center
February
Feb. 3 — Mr. Soul Film Screening: From 1968 to 1973, the public television variety show SOUL!, guided by producer and host Ellis Haizlip, offered a celebration of Black literature, poetry, music and politics. Presented in celebration of Black History Month. 6PM in the Black Box Theater.
Feb. 14 — Love is Love: A Vision of Love for All, 10am-2pm in the LGBTQ Center
March
March 17 — Nimona Film Screening; Based on the graphic novel of the same title by ND Stevenson, this Middle Ages-inspired futuristic, Oscar-nominated animation is a heartwarming universal story. 6PM in the Black Box Theater
March 24 — Beyond the Binary. A student-led panel discussion and presentation exploring gender diversity in celebration of Nonbinary Awareness Week. 6PM in room 249 of the Main Campus Student Center.
March 26 — LGBTQ Health Fair. A campus tabling event offered as part of LGBTQ Health Awareness Week. Presented in partnership with the ECU Health Sciences Sexual and Gender Diversity Committee. 11am-2pm, LGBTQ Center.
March 31 — Trans Day of Visibility Luncheon. A student-led discussion and presentation in celebration of Trans Visibility Month. Noon in room 249 of the Main Campus Student Center.
April
April 7 — The Art of the Pan Heart. A student-led discussion and presentation in celebration of Pansexual Awareness Week. 6PM in room 249 of the Main Campus Student Center.
April 14 — Edie & Thea: A Very Long Engagement Film Screening. This documentary explores a 42-year journey of courage, strength, and love at any age. 6PM in Black Box Theater
April 25 — Lesbian Visibility Day Luncheon. Noon in room 253 of the Main Campus Student Center.
April 30 — Stress Relief Study Break. 11am-2pm in the LGBTQ Center.
