Assist with labor and delivery research
An ECU team is aiming to evaluate the patient experience of labor and delivery for women at ECU Health. The aims of the study include:
- Evaluate the patient’s perceived level of support and control
- Identify patient characteristics likely to affect their experience
- Explore L&D interventions to make experiences more likely to be positive
What would you do on the team?
Consent patients, do EHR chart analysis, administer surveys, and help write the manuscript of findings.
Who are we looking for?
- MUST be affiliated to ECU health (either volunteer or employee)
- Have some experience in research
- Interested in improving maternal health outcomes
