Deniya Evans

Deniya Evans is from Wilmington, NC and is a sophomore majoring in biology with a concentration in cell and molecular biology on a pre-med track. She is a member of Buff In Scrubs, AED, and is also a volunteer at ECU Health. She is starting her SHP this year with Dr. May in the Department of Kinesiology, working on a placenta study to better understand pregnancy outcomes such as gestational diabetes. After completion of her undergraduate degree, Deniya hopes to attend medical school at ECU’s Brody School of Medicine.
