The Honors College welcomes you to visit campus and the Honors College in a variety of ways.

Honors College Academic Days

Honors College Academic Days are a great way to learn about all of the aspects and benefits of the Honors College. Academic Days include a tour of ECU and an Honors College information session, where we share the benefits of the Honors College as well as important admissions information. We also invite current Honors students to sit on a panel to answer your questions about the Honors College, student life and opportunities at ECU through their own personal experiences. We hope you will join us for an Honors College Academic Day soon.

ECU Pirates Aboard Admitted Student Day

Admitted students and their families are invited to attend our campus-wide celebration of our newly admitted Pirates! During Pirates Aboard, meet faculty and spend time with your intended major, attend topical information sessions, take part in our admitted student tours, participate in a campus-wide activity fair, and get to know Pirate Nation. This is your opportunity to connect with your future classmates and professors from our eight colleges, representing 87 bachelor’s degrees, while also learning about our organizations and services. We are so excited for you to get hooked on ECU!

The Honors College will host a special information session during Admitted Student Day. (If students want to attend an academic session for their major, they are encouraged to sign up for the Gold start time so that it won’t conflict with the honors session.)

Join us Saturday, March 23, 2024 for Pirates Aboard Admitted Student Day!

Honors College Ambassadors

Our Honors College Ambassadors are a vibrant and diverse cohort embodying the very essence of our Honors College and ECU as a whole. These remarkable individuals showcase the honors ideals of community, opportunity, responsibility and exploration. Representing a variety of backgrounds and majors and with a rich tapestry of experiences and passions, they are leaders, researchers, award winners, and more. However, despite their achievements, they remain refreshingly relatable; occasionally, they’ll hit the snooze button one too many times or misplace their wallet. They embrace any opportunity to share their experiences and provide valuable insight into life in ECU’s Honors College. Don’t hesitate to fire away with your questions, as our ambassadors are eager to connect and guide you on your own path within the honors community!
