Elisabeth Austin

Elisabeth Austin is a current senior in the Honors College, where she is a double major in political science and security studies. She is a lead student employee at the Central Reservations Office in the student center. She spent her second semester as a sophomore studying abroad in Italy through ECU’s Tuscany Abroad Program. She is a part of ECU’s Security Studies club and tutor’s children through the Little Willie Center in Greenville. She is interested in international studies, where she is beginning her thesis on intrastate conflict and women’s rights. She also has an interest in national politics, where she interned in the North Carolina General Assembly as a Summer Clerk. When she isn’t in classes or studying, she loves to read, go to ECU’s cycling classes, play pickleball, and travel!
