Pirate Nation Gives – Honors
Support the Honors College this Pirate Nation Gives
Providing enriching educational experiences outside of the classroom is key for Honors College students. Honors College alumna Maggie Baile shares why she gives back to the college.
Wednesday, March 22nd marks ECU’s 7th Pirate Nation Gives. On this special day, we encourage Pirates from all over the world to come together in supporting ECU. Last year, we had a record-setting 1,500 individuals make donations to ECU that equated to over $8 million raised.
Out of all of the opportunities to give across campus, we ask you consider supporting the Honors College, especially our priority fund. The Honors College Priority Fund allows us to positively impact the lives of our students and support them in their research, fellowship, and internship experiences; service initiatives; leadership development; and study abroad endeavors. Check out our Student Spotlights webpage to learn more about our outstanding students and how they utilized these opportunities.
We also encourage you to take part in some of the Pirate Nation Gives challenges taking place throughout the day, such as the first website gift, farthest away gift and more. These challenges are an excellent way to unlock extra gifts in support of the program.
Just as gifts of any size make a real impact, so does helping spread the good news about Pirate Nation Gives and the Honors College. Follow us on our social media and share stories of students who have benefitted from these enriching educational experiences.
